For how many years has JOULE been trading?
We are an independent jeweller; established since 1975 showcasing the most inimitable, contemporary jewellery that is unlike anything you will see elsewhere.
Is all Jewellery on the JOULE Website authentic?
Yes. We only stock jewellery that is made by us or supplied directly from very well trusted manufacturers. We do not stock any imitation Jewellery or buy from any dubious or unknown sources. All of our jewellery carries the British hallmarks. This is a basic requirement by law.

I've been looking for a particular design and cannot find it anywhere. Can JOULE assist?
Certainly. At Joule we pride ourselves on our incomparable jewellery. Our bespoke design service will allow you to dream any design. We have an in-house jewellery design team that will help you with this. If you do not see the item you would like on our site, or you would like some details changed, then pop in for a chat or email us, and by appointment, you can see one of our two in-house designers who will be delighted to help you create that special one-off piece of jewellery on which we pride ourselves upon.

Its first time I've bought contemporary jewellery. How can I be confident that my purchase will feel and look as good as what I see on your website?
On the JOULE website, our aim is to photograph our jewellery in such a way as to present the personality of each piece. What you see on the site, is what you will get. It is possible, however, that due to the natural materials included to make the products (gold, silver, platinum), that the colour finish may vary from one piece to another.
I am buying contemporary jewellery as a gift for somebody else, Is there anything I can do if they don't like the gift?
We cannot extend this returns policy to earrings, for hygiene reasons. So you might be safer to choose something else, or vouchers, just to be on the safe side! Please also see full terms and conditions
If I place an order today, when can I expect to receive my jewellery?
The delivery time on items will vary from one week to eight weeks. Email us or call our showroom, and we will do our best to quote a time frame involved.
I tend to feel more comfortable buying from a company that I am familiar with, can you tell me a little more about Joule?
Established in 1975, JOULE are retailers and designers of fine quality jewellery. Our designer collection is based on quality and simplicity, featuring classic pieces made by some of the best jewellery designers in the UK and overseas. Most of our collection is made in either 18ct gold or platinum, using excellent certified diamonds with beautiful vibrant colours and shapes. Our collections are carefully selected for being unique and unusual. What is your policy regarding returns and refunds?
Special orders cannot be refunded or exchanged. Special orders are tailored specially to your requirements. Therefore we will not refund or exchange any item that has been specially ordered for you or that has been made to your requirements. The same applies to items which are outside our current product range. This does not affect your statutory rights. Please read our full terms and conditions page. What is the quality of diamonds you use in your jewellery?
For our engagement and weddings rings, we use only the finest quality of diamonds which never have clarity lower than VS and a colour of H. For all other jewellery, the qualities of diamonds are never lower than Si1 and a colour of H. also see our What is a diamond page
How do I know the diamonds I am buying are conflict free?
At Joule we would like to give all our customers a guarantee that we obtain our stones directly from reputable companies who give us guarantees that no conflict stones are being sold. Our major suppliers also give us written guarantees. See our conflict free page of diamonds.
Do you stock my ring size?
Rings are always ordered to your individual ring size. Please make sue the ring size is correct when ordered, as there will be a 25% handling charge if a ring has to be remade. We suggest that your ring size you give us is exact. Feel free to come and have your ring size measured. See ring sizes
How do I find my ring size?
Check our page for the ring sizes, also you can visit our shop where we will be happy to find the correct size.
Are prices on the Joule website subject to change?
We keep our prices on our website updated regularly. However, occasionally there can be some small price fluctuations in the volatile market of gold, platinum and other precious metals.
